In Itoshima, the town loudspeakers play tonal songs at 7 am, 12 pm, and 5 pm to encourage everyone to wake, take lunch, or head home.

The bell's performance varies due to atmospheric conditions. In the rain, the sound falls heavy and reflects off the drops. At times, you can hear the bells from neighboring speakers project an in-the-round, choral version that echoes over the hills. To expand the broadcast range of these metronomic sound signals, I made them into MP3s.
